A door opened for them to take over the pastoral leadership of a local church & congregation. This resulted in establishing The Lord’s Ministry House as they started implementing the vision received in 1997. The whole vision and purpose of this ministry is about maturing believers. As it says in Colossians 1.28

We preach Christ; warning every PERSON and teaching every ONE in all wisdom, that we may present every person, mature, full-grown, complete and perfect in Christ Jesus.

+ What is it to be a mature believer in Christ?

It is raising up believers to be trees of righteousness planted by the Lord. It means they are going to have to be skilled in functioning in righteousness. And that is referring first of all to Isaiah 61:3 and Hebrews 5:14 being skillful in the Word of righteousness. You become affected by the message, a carrier of the message, going out and duplicating it as well... casting the net over the whole earth in your workplace, to friends, on social media, etc.

+ How does the Church look like?

Well, as believers are mature, they are going to do the work of Christ. They become disciples. Ones that are disciplined, ministers of the gospel wherever they are, wherever they go, wherever the Lord take them. They listen to the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit send them to go do something, start something. We are more than a church; we are a training center.

+ Who are we training

Believers. It is not all evangelistic. A training center is to train people to perform a specific task, the task at hand is manifesting the life of Christ and doing the work of Christ. The Holy Spirit needs to take the ministry and explode it, bless it & prosper it. We are in the age of social media. In 1997, there was no internet... we recognize in retrospect, that the vision of this tree with an abstract net may have been referring to the internet. We are not a nursing home, with easy comfort & paletable messages. We are training with meaty & sometimes uncomfortable truths... in order to commission & send mature sons/daughters to the world to change it!

+ What does maturity look like?

  • Walking in authority
  • Walking in love
  • Reaching out to others
  • Stepping out and ministering elsewhere
  • Coming with testimonies week after week
  • Getting deeper in the Lord
  • Getting people to church, filled with the Holy Spirit, and discipling them.

+ How do we evaluate the results?

  • Are believers matured walking in righteousness?
  • Is the Word been fulfilled in their lives?
  • Are they becoming aware of their calling and purpose in life?
  • Is there still fear/anxiety, that indicates they have not fully gotten ahold of the knowledge of who they are?
  • Are they walking in faith and fearless confidence in the world... in love, consistency, and the grace of God?
